Giant Doily Rug

I've had this pretty doily pattern sitting in my library for a while now and I finally decided to give it a try on an unusual scale. It has also been a new experience crocheting with a large hook (too big for my hands :p).
Pattern: Summer Splendor by Denise Owens
Yarn: Worsted/ appx 300g/ 100% acrylic
Hook: 6.5mm
Diameter: 95cm
